Portraits of a 'Student Tailor'

Davide Taub’s very fine work. I love the fun gauntlet cuffs and pleated patch pockets. Immaculate style.
Fantastic colours in this flamboyant Maurice Sedwell number…

The quintessential double-breasted blazer by Norton & Sons.
A lovely drapey full-cut Northern Italian double-breasted suit, cut in an unusual blue melange. Very handsome.

A lovely modern, crisp ensemble. The soft grey tones suit the soft navy and the peaked lapels have an attractive shape with a lovely long line and high gorge.

The bespoke shirt from Ede & Ravenscroft is coming on apace!

Check out the fitting on Thoughts of a ‘Student Tailor’.

A beautiful wool, silk and linen blazer in a lovely soft lavender colour. The pleated patch pockets are also a great design detail.

A recent visit to the marvellous Drake’s factory…

Feature coming soon to Thoughts of a ‘Student Tailor’.

Such fantastically clean cut tailoring. The bound pockets keep everything super-neat and the slim lapels make the jacket’s shoulders appear to be broader than they are for a masculine silhouette.
